An Evening of BBQ and Advocacy for the Indian River Lagoon

We’re thrilled to invite you to an exciting event at F Burton Smith Park in Cocoa, Florida, on Friday, October 27th, 2023! Picture this: delicious BBQ, thrilling auctions, and fantastic raffle prizes. But more than that, it’s a night to celebrate our shared commitment to restoring the Indian River Lagoon.

As the founder of the Indian River Clam Restoration Project, Blair Wiggins, will be hosting the evening with his trademark enthusiasm. Blair’s passion for clean water and sustainable fishing practices is sure to keep the energy high and the conversations engaging.

One of the cornerstones of our mission is the Indian River Lagoon Clam Restoration Program. This initiative focuses on revitalizing clam populations, which are essential for maintaining healthy aquatic ecosystems. These amazing creatures act as natural water purifiers, filtering out impurities and improving water quality.

The need for clean water in Florida’s saltwater waterways is urgent. Pollution and environmental challenges are threatening these delicate ecosystems. By attending our event, you’ll be contributing to the fight for clean, healthy waterways that benefit both the environment and our communities.

We’re excited to have some celebrity guests join us, including Shaw Grigsby, CA Richardson, and Leiza Fitzgerald. Your support is the driving force behind our mission. Together, we can make a real difference—one clam, one drop of clean water at a time.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to support a great cause, enjoy some delicious BBQ, and connect with like-minded individuals. Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable evening!

Warm regards,

The Indian River Clam Restoration Project Team
